The Faculty of ALalsun ??at Beni Suef University, under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized its first scientific conference Titled "Contemporary Visions in Translation, Languages, and Literature," this is in frame of comparing human translation with artificial intelligence translation, the relationship between artificial intelligence and languages, the risks and benefits of its use, and how to use it correctly, it was held under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Heba Fawzy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Fatima Ashour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hanaa Mahmoud, Vice Dean for post Graduate Studies With the participation of a selected group of professors from all language departments at various universities, Dr. Christelle Combe from Aix-Marseille University in France participated via video conference, and Dr. Hanan Suleiman, a member of the Shura Council. Dr. Mansour explained that the conference addressed several themes: translation, which discussed translation and artificial intelligence, the localization of smart applications and websites, translation and entrepreneurship, and translation and climate change. The linguistics theme discussed computing and virtual communication and their impact on language, as well as the impact and influence of language in contemporary social contexts The impact and influence of language in contemporary psychological and neurological contexts, and the analysis of linguistic discourse in light of modern stylistic and pragmatic theories, also discussed the literature theme, interactive literature, literature and artificial intelligence, literature and sustainable development, and contemporary literature and cinema. Dr. Marwa, Dean of the Faculty, added that the conference sessions included a lecture by Dr. Ghada El-Khayat, Professor at the Faculty of Business at Alexandria University, titled "Language Exploring the Relationship in and Beyond Academia," a lecture by Dr. Diaa El-Naggar, Professor and Head of the German Language Department at Ain Shams University, and a lecture by Dr. Christelle Combe entitled "Developing Digital Literacy for Language Teachers and Learners in Egypt." A session was dedicated to young researchers from various departments at the Faculty of ALalsun, Beni Suef University, to present their distinguished research.
At the conclusion of the conference, members of the scientific committee and session chairs were honored.
