Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, honored Omar Mohamed Abdel Azim Emam, a second-year student at the Faculty of Agriculture and a member of the Egyptian and African national teams, after he won first place and the gold medal in the Republic Championship for Universities and Higher Institutes in Kung Fu. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty.
The University President congratulated Omar Mohamed, praising his outstanding performance in the competition, which raised the profile of Egypt and the University, and wishing that his colleagues would take him as a role model.
