"The Role of Space Technology in Achieving National Security" – A Seminar at the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology, Beni Suef University

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology organized a seminar titled "The Role of Space Technology in Achieving National Security within Egypt’s Vision 2030." The event was supervised by Dr. Osama Shalabya, Dean of the Faculty, and featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Khaled Youssef Kamel, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The seminar was attended by a large number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from various disciplines, along with representatives and experts interested in environmental security and space technology.
The discussions focused on the role of space technology in supporting national security strategies, the significance of scientific research in advancing sustainable development policies, and the applications of space technology in environmental monitoring, climate change assessment, and natural resource management. The seminar also highlighted the importance of space sciences, artificial intelligence, and the state's efforts in safeguarding Egypt’s national security and stability to achieve sustainable development goals in line with Vision 2030.
