"The Dangers of Cybercrimes and Their Impact on Youth" Seminar at the Faculty of Social Work, Beni Suef University

The Beni Suef University Council, chaired by President Dr. Mansour Hassan, approved in its 242nd session the organization of a seminar by the Faculty of Developmental Social Work titled "The Dangers of Cybercrimes and Their Impact on Youth in Egyptian Society." This seminar is part of the Graduate Follow-up Unit's action plan for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The session was attended by Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, faculty deans, and council members.
The seminar aims to educate participants about cybercrimes, including theft, extortion, bullying, hacking, and the spread of rumors, as well as their effects on youth and strategies for protection against such offenses. Additionally, the seminar will address students' questions and concerns. The council also approved the faculty's proposals to launch the "Discover Your Talent" initiative, highlighting outstanding talents within the faculty, and to organize a charitable clothing exhibition to support and enhance student welfare.
