President of Beni Suef University Attends "Talents On Fire" Event to Discover Talents

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, attended the launch of the third season of "Talents On Fire," an event aimed at discovering talents from various university faculties. Organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy for the third consecutive year, the event seeks to identify talents in recitation, singing, musical performance, acting, painting, and poetry composition and recitation. The initiative was held in collaboration with the Youth Care Administration, Students for Egypt, and the University Student Union. Attendees included Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Mr. Mohamed Salim, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, Coordinator of Students for Egypt; Dr. Dina Amin, Student Coordinator at the Faculty; and Captain Mohamed Farouk, General Director of Youth Care Administration, along with a significant number of students.
Dr. Mansour Hassan emphasized that the university's activities are not limited to academics but also encompass cultural, sports, and social aspects. He noted that student activities contribute to building well-rounded personalities and that the university serves as a genuine starting point for talent discovery and fostering creativity.
In his speech, the President called for continuous support for talents who excelled in previous seasons of the competition and urged the judging panel to provide necessary assistance to these distinguished individuals. He also suggested organizing another competition focused on scientific innovations and inventions, aiming to nurture outstanding projects.
Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, expressed gratitude to the President for his unwavering support of students, emphasizing his commitment to nurturing their talents across all activities. She highlighted his consistent participation in student events, including his attendance at this event for the third consecutive year.
At the conclusion of the event, a commemorative shield was presented to Dr. Mansour Hassan in recognition of his efforts in supporting students and providing them with comprehensive assistance.
The judging panel comprised Dr. Mohamed Mady, former Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts; artist Amr Ramzy; maestro Ahmed Mostafa Galal; and poet Nour Suleiman. A total of 263 students from 27 different faculties applied for the competition. After preliminary rounds involving 89 students, 32 finalists were selected to perform before the judging panel.
