Dr. Mansour Hassan Appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Universities Faculty Members' Fund

The Board of Directors of the Faculty Members' Welfare Fund for Egyptian Universities and Research Institutes held a meeting today.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs and former Minister of Health and Population, was elected Chairman of the Board. Professor Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, was elected Vice Chairman, while Dr. Atef Al-Awam was appointed Treasurer and Dr. Hisham Al-Manawi as Executive Secretary.

The meeting was attended by board members, including Dr. Mohamed Sami, President of Cairo University; Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, former President of Ain Shams University; Dr. Ali Abdel Hamid, representing the National Research Center; Dr. Wafaa Qandil, Director of the Theodore Institute; Mr. Mohamed Radi, representing the Ministry of Finance; and Dr. Mohamed El-Sharqawy, representing the Ministry of Higher Education.

On this occasion, Dr. Mansour Hassan expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the board members, commending their dedication and continuous efforts in ensuring the Fund fulfills its mandate of providing various forms of healthcare and social support to faculty members and their assistants. He also emphasized the importance of expanding the Fund’s activities to further benefit university faculty members.
