Educational Workshop on Psychological Measurement and Test Development at the Faculty of Social Work

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Department of Group Work at the Faculty of Developmental Social Work organized an educational workshop on psychological measurement and test development. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Hendawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members, research assistants, and postgraduate researchers from various academic departments.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Hisham Abdelhamid Tahami, Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, and covered key concepts in psychological measurement, its steps and justifications, as well as hands-on training for researchers on developing psychological tests.
This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to providing comprehensive support for postgraduate students and academic staff, equipping them with essential research skills and enhancing their understanding of critical research topics related to their fields of study.
