Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology, Beni Suef University, hosts 50 high school students from various schools

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology hosted 50 high school students from various schools. This was under the supervision of Dr. Osama Shalabia, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Manal Gamal El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The visit comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to educate new generations about the importance of navigation sciences and space technology, and to open new horizons for them to explore this vital and future field.
During the visit, the students learned about the different departments of the college through a detailed explanation provided by Dr. Ahmed Badawi, lecturer in the Department of Space Sciences, and Engineer Ahmed Magdy, a teaching assistant in the department. The spotlight was placed on how to survey the beginnings of the Arab months using a telescope, in addition to reviewing cooperation protocols and pictures of student training within the relevant bodies and institutions. They also learned about the distinguished graduation projects of students from previous years.
Student Mohamed Ashraf, enrolled in the fifth year of the special program, also reviewed his experience in obtaining a scholarship to study at Hiroshima University in Japan, while student Abdel Rahman Mustafa, enrolled in the second year of the general program, presented a model of his success story, reviewing the awards he received as a result of his academic excellence.
