The Faculty of Social Service at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized a symposium entitled “A Stable Family Equals a Safe Society,” within the framework of Bedaya the New Beginning Initiative for Human Development launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to build the Egyptian human being. The symposium was held under the supervision of Dr. Hendawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Development, and in coordination between the Youth Care Administration and Students for Egypt. Dr. Mohamed Samir Abdel Aziz and Sheikh Mohamed Abdel Aziz Abdel Salam, preachers at the Al-Azhar World Monitoring Center, lectured in the presence of a remarkable number of faculty members, employees, and students.
It is worth mentioning that organizing these seminars comes within the framework of the university administration’s keenness to develop student awareness of various topics and issues, especially those related to the family, which is the basic nucleus for building society and working on its stability and progress. If the family’s condition improves, society as a whole will improve. The seminar addressed preserving family cohesion, how to protect the Egyptian family from the risk of disintegration, and protecting the child from an early age from physical and psychological harm that may affect him in his life and future, as well as educating students about the role of the family in building values ??and behavioral patterns and raising children with sound morals and piety to serve society and the nation.
