First aid course at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef University

Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a first aid training course for the members of the Faculty of Pharmacy with the aim of introducing the basic principles of first aid that may be a reason for saving a person’s life, and acting properly and with emotional stability in situations, accidents and sudden injuries. This was under the supervision of Dr. Shahira Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Eglal Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service Affairs. Dr. Sahar Gamal, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, lectured , in the presence of a number of faculty members, employees and students.
The training covered the basics of life-saving to reduce complications and save the life of any injured person until they receive specialized medical intervention, for cases of respiratory arrest, choking, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, poisoning, burns, fractures, suffocation, and other common accidents and injuries.
