President of Beni Suef University attends the activities of the "Fine Art" symposium in the presence of the artist "Simone"

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the activities of the "Fine Art" symposium, which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Care, in the presence of the artist Simone, director Mohamed Mubarak, and a number of deans of colleges and faculty members. This was under the supervision of Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director of the General Administration of Youth Care, and organized by Students for Egypt, amidst a remarkable presence of faculty members and students.
The ceremony began with a special singing segment by the artist Simone, which included a speech by the artist in which she praised the advanced level of Beni Suef University, especially since it is in Upper Egypt and has many unique specializations and combines many specializations.
For his part, the university president welcomed the guests, thanking them for accepting the invitation and their keenness to participate in presenting the symposium, stressing the university’s keenness to host prominent and influential public figures in society, to educate university youth and develop their awareness in various areas of life. He pointed out that the symposium highlights the extent to which art is linked to building and forming the human being, as it is considers the most important axis of developing society through spreading high-quality art, and art is considered a major element in building the individual’s personality and acquiring behavioral patterns through his interaction with various arts.
The artist "Simone" spoke about how to build a person culturally and artistically, emphasizing the importance of culture and art as they are among the most prominent tributaries for building peoples. Also, she stressed that building awareness is one of the most important elements of development, and that the role of art in changing society is by showing the positives not the negatives in artistic works.
It is worth noting that Dr. Mansour Hassan presented the university shield to the artist Simone and the director Ali Mubarak in appreciation of their keenness to participate in the symposium. The event also included an open dialogue with the students, which included many diverse questions that the artist answered.
The ceremony concluded with the song “Symbol of Steadfastness,” in which the artist expressed her full solidarity with the Palestinian cause, amidst great interaction from the audience.
