Beni Suef University Council approves the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences to carry out a number of awareness activities in the university’s faculties

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved in its 241st session that the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences will implement a number of activities and workshops in the Faculties of Politics and Economics, Tourism and Hotels, and Physical Therapy, to raise awareness of a number of topics and issues related to people with special needs and their families. This came in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Deans of Faculties, and Council members.

The university president explained that a workshop entitled “Group Integration: Application Problems and Solution Mechanisms” will be held at the Faculty of Politics and Economics, and another workshop entitled “Sign Language” at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels during the coming month of February, then a family guidance workshop will be held at the Faculty of Physical Therapy to support families and raise their awareness about dealing with behavioral problems in their children and their capabilities.

The university president added that people with special needs are among the categories that receive great attention during the era of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, due to the extraordinary creative abilities and talents they possess that can be exploited in various fields by integrating them into society.
