A research project for Earth Science students at Beni Suef University won EGP 150,000, funded by the Innovative Projects Support Unit.

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced winning of third and fourth-year students at the Department of Water and Environmental Geology at the Faculty of Earth Science in an innovative project in its fifth session, funded by the Innovation Projects Support Unit for Higher Education Students, entitled Monitoring Fertilizer Residues in Nile River Water and Methods of Treating Them, with an amount of 150 thousand pounds, under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Ghaid, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Fathi Abu Al-Saud, Head of the Department of Water and Environmental Geology.
For his part, the President of the University expressed his happiness with the participation of university students in innovation competitions and project funding in order to hone their skills and qualify them, stressing the university's support for students' research projects that help them acquire many skills, within the framework of the university's orientation towards presenting innovative projects that help solve the problems facing society in order to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030.
