The Faculty of Developmental Social Work at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized a symposium entitled The Population Issue: Risks and Solutions, in cooperation with the Field Training Units and the Sustainable Development Unit, under the supervision of Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Lahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Ms. Naglaa Abdel-Baqi, Director of the National Population Council Branch in Beni Suef.
The symposium addressed the population issue, its dimensions, and the economic, health, social and educational causes and risks associated with the existence of an unexploited population increase. The symposium is within the framework of the university's interest in the importance of activating the New Beginning Initiative to build the human being by continuously raising awareness among students about the various aspects that the initiative is concerned with inside and outside the university, in order to achieve increased student awareness of the various societal problems that affect life.
