Clinical Psychology Students of Beni Suef National University Visit a Nursing Home

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, announced that the Clinical Psychology Program organized a field visit to the East of the Nile Nursing Home. The visit is within the framework of university's efforts to enhance the societal and humanitarian aspects of its students, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rasha Adel, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, and Dr. Qayati Ashour, Program Director.
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university strives to adopt initiatives that combine the academic and humanitarian aspects, noting that such visits contribute to strengthening community ties and providing psychological support to the elderly, which leaves a positive impact on their souls, explaining that the students provided a variety of recreational activities for the elderly during the visit and distributed symbolic gifts to express their appreciation for this group.
For his part, Dr. Qayati Ashour explained that the visit comes within the program's study plan, as it aims to apply what students learn from academic concepts on the ground, and helps students understand the psychological and social needs of the elderly, and identify the challenges they face at this age.
