Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, the Faculty of Medicine organized a scientific day for first-year students, as part of the faculty's keenness to enhance interactive education and develop students' skills, and under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Osama, Dean of the Medical Sector, Dr. Enas Yahya, Program Director, Dr. Marwa Abdel Tawab, Director of the Student Research Unit, and the organization of the Student Union.
For his part, the President of the University explained that this scientific activity comes within the framework of the university's endeavor to apply active learning methodologies, which directly involve students in research, presentation and interaction processes, as students reviewed a group of scientific "seminars" that shed light on various topics within the academic study regulations, which provides students with the opportunity to develop their presentation skills and deepen their understanding of various medical specialties, noting that this type of scientific activity is considered a model to be emulated in combining theoretical and applied education, which enhances students' readiness for the medical labor market.
It is worth noting that the scientific day witnessed a wide attendance of faculty members, who praised the distinguished level of the presentations provided, as the topics discussed by the students varied to cover important theoretical and practical aspects, which contributed to enhancing scientific understanding and raising the level of academic discussion.
