"Occupational Safety and Health towards a Safe and Sustainable Work Environment" Awareness Lecture at Beni Suef University

The Faculty of Navigation Sciences and Space Technology at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized an awareness lecture entitled “Occupational Safety and Health Towards a Safe and Sustainable Work Environment”. This was under the supervision of Dr. Osama Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty and the Faculty’s Vice Deans. Dr. Kariman Galal Taha, Director of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Affairs at Beni Suef University Hospitals, lectured in the presence of faculty members, employees, and students.
The lecture aims to enhance awareness of the principles of occupational safety and health, by identifying its concept, objectives, local and international legislation, and the risks that threaten facilities, most notably fires and the need for awareness and training on methods of combating and controlling them and the means of extinguishing used, with emphasizing the importance of following safety requirements to preserve lives of students, employees and facilities, to ensure a safe work and study environment for all.
