Beni Suef University ranks 9th locally and among the top 70 Arab universities according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked 9th among Egyptian universities and 61-70th among Arab universities.
The university president added that this classification came as a result of the efforts of the university's researchers and the implementation of the university's plan aimed at advancing scientific research, encouraging researchers to publish internationally, and working to make the university a research university. He pointed out that this classification witnessed the participation of 351 Arab universities, including 47 Egyptian universities, 82 universities from Algeria, 79 from Iraq, 34 from Saudi Arabia, and 20 from Jordan, in addition to universities from other Arab countries. 238 Arab universities were able to appear in this classification.
For her part, Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the International Classification and Sustainable Development Office, praised the efforts of researchers under the university’s sponsorship of them, encouraging them to conduct scientific research, pushing them to publish, and overcoming any difficulties and challenges they face in international publishing.
