Beni Suef National University students on a scientific visit to the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences

Beni Suef National University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized a scientific visit for the students of the Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information Systems program to the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences. This was under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, The Academic Vice President, and Dr. Rasha Adel Lotfy, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, accompanied by Dr. Sherif Mamdouh, Director of the Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information Systems Program, and Dr. Tamer Amroun, Professor of the Remote Sensing Course. The students were received by Dr. Islam Abu Al-Majd, President of the Authority, and Dr. Safaa Hassan, Director of the Training Division at the Authority.
The university president explained that the aim of the visit was to introduce university students to the bodies related to the curriculum of the surveying and geographic information systems program, where various laboratories and modern devices in surveying, geographic information systems, and remote sensing applications in various fields were visited . He stressed that the university pays great attention to the practical and field aspect of students, and seeks to link the academic curricula that students receive with the practical aspect, with the aim of training students practically and qualifying them for the labor market, developing their skills, and gaining field experience, with the aim of reducing the gap between theory and application.
