Beni Suef University Council approves organizing a scientific visit for students of the Institute of Botany and the Faculty of Agriculture to the Agricultural Research Station

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in its session No. (239), approved organizing a scientific visit for postgraduate students at the department from the professional and research master's and doctoral levels, as well as final-stage students at the Faculty of Agriculture, to the medicinal and aromatic plants farm at the Agricultural Research Station in the village of Seds in the governorate, affiliated with the Agricultural Research Center, to learn about the most important plants grown in the region and the good agricultural practices that are applied to medicinal and aromatic plants to maximize the productivity and active ingredients of these plants. This was in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, deans of faculties, and members of the Council. 
The Council also approved holding an awareness seminar for researchers, producers, final year students, graduates of the College of Agriculture, and all those interested in the field of medicinal and aromatic plant production under the title “The Most Important Fungal Diseases Affecting Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Symptoms and Control,” with the aim of developing production, preparing qualified scientific cadres to meet the needs of the labor market, building partnerships with exporters and workers in the field of medicinal and aromatic plant production, providing scientific consultations, and training students and those interested in working in this field, because the university is a house of expertise that seeks to employ its expertise and research to serve civil society.
