Beni Suef University Council approves holding an awareness seminar on bacteriophages as an alternative to bacterial resistance at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, approved in its session No. (239) to organize an awareness seminar at the Faculty of Pharmacy next December entitled "Bacteriophages and their Derivatives as a Promising Alternative to Bacterial Resistance". The seminar will be lectured by Dr. Karim Abdel Qader, Lecturer at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, deans of faculties and members of the Council.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that this seminar is within the framework of the university's efforts to enhance scientific awareness about the challenges facing society in the field of bacterial resistance to antibiotics. He stressed that bacteriophages and their derivatives represent a promising solution to confront this growing phenomenon, as they provide new alternatives that can contribute to improving the effectiveness of treatments. Dr. Mansour also called on all students and researchers to participate in this event, to benefit from the lecturer's expertise and expand their horizons in this vital field.
