Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, organizes activities to celebrate World Diabetes Day

The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized the activities of World Diabetes Day, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The activities of the day, which was organized in coordination with the Department of Surgical Nursing under the supervision of Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, included a presentation on the causes and symptoms associated with the disease and the factors that help and increase the rates of infection with it such as genetic factors. In addition to how to prevent, treat, and examine the necessary tests to reduce the incidence. The offices of the administrators working in the faculty were also visited, and awareness leaflets were distributed, including the causes, methods of treatment, and prevention of diabetes, how to detect the disease early, and the necessity of adhering to a healthy lifestyle that includes nutrition and exercise, in order to raise awareness among all faculty members.
