Faculty of Nursing , Beni Suef University organizes a scientific symposium on hereditary blood diseases

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a scientific symposium on hereditary blood diseases, coinciding with the World Hereditary Blood Diseases Week. This is under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Mohamed Hussein Maabad, Professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, lectured at the symposium.
The university president explained that the symposium addressed the types and causes of hereditary blood diseases, the necessary analyses for early detection, and the various tests that precede marriage, especially marriage between relatives, and this to avoid having a child free of hereditary blood diseases. In addition to shedding light on the latest technologies, new medicines, and treatment provided by the state to those infected.
At the end of the symposium, the floor was opened  to answer the discussions and inquiries of the attendees, including faculty members, administrators and students.
