President of Beni Suef University chairs meeting of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Council

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired today the meeting of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Council, in the presence of the vice deans of the faculties for community service and environmental affairs sector. The necessity of developing an action plan and vision in coordination with the Consulting Unit was emphasized regarding the presidential initiative " Bedya A New Beginning for Human Development."
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including organizing seminars in the Faculties of Education, Arts, and Social Service with the aim of combating and preventing the phenomena of illegal immigration and human trafficking. Also, discussing the proposals of the various faculties, including the proposals of the Faculty of Medicine regarding holding the 18th Annual Pediatrics Conference and the annual conference of the faculty on February 11. The council approves the conduct of a poll on the target audience of the presidential initiative convoy "New Beginning". In addition to discuss the proposals of the Faculty of Nursing to organize a blood donation campaign in cooperation with the regional bank in the governorate and in coordination with the blood bank at the university hospital.
The Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute proposed holding a workshop entitled “Smart Solutions for Green Extraction Technology for Medicinal and Aromatic Green Plants”, discussing the establishment of a special unit for extracting and preparing medicinal and aromatic plants with the aim of providing consultations to farmers and exporters. And the proposals of the Faculty of Agriculture regarding implementing the employment forum of the faculty next April.
The proposals of the Faculty of Social Service Development regarding organizing an advisory seminar for students on the literacy project in cooperation with the Literacy and Adult Education Authority were also approved. As well as approving the awareness convoys program in cooperation with the various faculties of the university, and implementing a seminar on employing student activities in light of the Initiative "Bedya".
