Beni Suef University participates in organizing Water and Agriculture Excellence Centers Conference in cooperation with the United States Agency for Development

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the participation of the university in organizing the Water and Agriculture Excellence  Centers Conference in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development and the American University in Cairo. This is within the university membership in Water Excellence Center project. This is in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the Faculty of PostGraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and representatives of the university in the project. Also , Dr. Hamada Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and a large number of representatives of American universities partnering in the project and a number of Egyptian universities, namely Alexandria, Zagazig, Ain Shams, Aswan, Cairo, Benha, Assiut, Qena, Suez, and representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, and a large number of related companies.
The university president explained that this year the conference discussed the challenges of water and agriculture and research priorities in these vital fields. The university participated with a large team in the conference from the faculties of  postgraduate of advanced sciences, earth sciences, sciences , agriculture, the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and the faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to a distinguished group of university students in the first and postgraduate stages.
