Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University celebrates World Osteoporosis Day

The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized the activities of the World Day of Osteoporosis, which is celebrated worldwide on October 20, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nagi, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development. The day's activities, which were organized in coordination with the Department of Surgical Nursing under the supervision of Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, included a presentation on the causes and symptoms associated with the disease The factors that help and increase the incidence of it, as well as the explanation of prevention methods, treatment, and necessary examinations for women and men of a certain age to reduce the incidence. Awareness leaflets and bulletins were distributed to the offices of the college administrators in order to raise awareness of this disease among all college members
