Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Al-Alsun launched the “Al-Alsun Beautifies Its Surroundings” initiative, which aims to expand green spaces and increase tree-planting activities inside and outside the Faculty. The initiative seeks to add natural aesthetic touches and provide a healthy and comfortable university environment for faculty members, assistant staff, administrative staff, and students. The initiative was launched under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the initiative stems from the importance of green spaces in improving the surrounding environment and creating an atmosphere of calm and psychological comfort, which positively affects the Faculty community and helps foster a more positive and vibrant university atmosphere. The initiative also aims to raise environmental awareness, promote care for the Faculty’s overall appearance, and encourage a culture of tree planting and expanding green areas, recognizing their importance in improving the quality of life within educational institutions.

The initiative reflects the University’s commitment to developing its campus environment in an integrated manner, combining academic excellence with a modern, civilized appearance and providing a more beautiful and comfortable educational and human environment for all members of the University community.
