In celebration of World Food Day... Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University organizes a scientific symposium on healthy nutrition

The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, organized a scientific symposium on healthy nutrition, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Nagi Mohsen, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Heba Allah Reda, Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Health at the Faculty of Medicine, lectured in the symposium

The symposium discussed healthy nutrition methods and the role of food in fighting diseases and boosting immunity. It also discussed some healthy and safe ways to preserve food, prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks, and improve human health. At the end of the symposium, the floor was opened for discussion and answering the attendees' questions
It is worth noting that World Food Day falls on October 16 of each year, and was declared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations with the aim of highlighting the millions of people around the world who cannot afford a healthy diet, and the need for regular access to nutritious foods
