Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Education launched a campaign to plant trees at the faculty's headquarters in the 330-acre complex east of the Nile, where a large number of trees were planted in implementation of the initiative of His Excellency the President of the Republic "Planting a Million Trees", and the university's efforts towards transforming into a green university. This came in the presence of Dr. Osama Mahmoud Korni, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahansawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Azzam Abdel Nabi Ahmed, Director of the Quality Unit
This comes from the importance of the initiatives which launched by the university to serve the environment and intensify efforts to reduce carbon emissions, which improves environmental quality in light of recent climate changes, and enhances efforts aimed at preserving the environment and vegetation cover and in the context of supporting and developing the process of planning and managing green spaces within the university campus west and east of the Nile
