President of Beni Suef University: The Nano Excellence Center at the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science obtains the ISO certificate

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that the Economic Production Excellence Center of Nanomedicine Materials COE-NANO, at the Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology at the College of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science, has obtained the ISO 17025 certificate from the National Accreditation Council (EGAC) affiliated with the Ministry of Industry.

The University President expressed his happiness with this new achievement, which contributes significantly to raising the status of the university locally and internationally and places it in the forefront, and directed thanks to those in charge of the work within the college from faculty members, assistant staff and administrative staff, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the College and Executive Director of the Center.

The university president explained that the center has obtained accreditation in the field of material properties evaluation tests for surface area, pore size, thermal analysis and particle size of metal oxides, polymers, metal-organic structures, double hydroxide layer materials, nanomaterials, natural materials, hydrocarbons, cement, salts and biological samples according to the requirements of the international specification ISO/IEC 17025:2017, stressing that the university is continuously working to provide the necessary requirements for ISO and apply international standard specifications for the quality management system, and follow the most appropriate methods to apply the latest scientific and technical standards, with the aim of bringing the university to the global level, in line with the vision of transforming into fourth-generation universities and placing the university's colleges and centers among the ranks of international universities. 
Dr. Ahmed Farghali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Advanced Science, thanked the university president for his full support and overcoming all difficulties that researchers may face, and harnessing all material and human capabilities for all institutes and colleges of the university to obtain ISO and accreditation.
