President of Beni Suef University receives the President of the General Authority for Adult Education to consolidate and support ways of cooperation

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, received in his office today, Dr. Eid Abdel Wahed Ali, President of the General Authority for Adult Education Mr/ Osama William, Director General of the Adult Education Authority in Beni Suef, in order to consolidate and support ways of cooperation between the university and the Authority within the framework of activating the protocol  which signed between the two sides. This came in the presence of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, where the role of Beni Suef University in the illiteracy eradication project in the governorate, what the university presented during the previous year, its ranking in first place in the number of successful students, and a discussion of the work plan during the coming period

The university president praised the role  that played by the General Authority for Adult Education in implementing and following up on the national project to eradicate illiteracy, stressing that the issue of illiteracy is one of the most important issues that hinders the development process in Egypt, so there has become an urgent need to rely on young people to eliminate it, as the project is implemented through them to eradicate illiteracy in villages, neighborhoods, and governorate centers, under the supervision of specialized university professors and participants in the project, and in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education.
For his part, Dr. Eid Abdel Wahed thanked and appreciated the university president for the good reception and hospitality at Beni Suef University, praising the pioneering role which played by the university administration and its topping the first positions at the level of Egyptian universities in the literacy and adult education project
