Beni Suef University Council agrees to organize field visits for students of the Faculty of Agriculture to increase their skills

Beni Suef University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, in its 233rd session, agreed to organize the Faculty of Agriculture for a number of field visits for students after the end of the second semester exams to increase students’ skills and experiences and take advantage of free time during the summer vacation. This was in the presence of University’s Vice Presidents, college deans, and council members.

The university president explained that the students’ field visits will include a visit to the vegetable and fruit crop packing and trading station in the village of Beni Suleiman (Plant Production Program - Food Industries Programme), a visit to Al-Salam Company farm (Plant Production Programme - Biotechnology Programme), and Dina Company farm (Animal Production Programme). - Biotechnology - Food Industries), and the Plant and Animal Production Farm at the Agricultural Research Center in Sedes (Animal and Plant Production Program - Biotechnology - Food Industries).
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan added that the university’s role does not depend on the theoretical aspect and teaching of courses and curricula only, but extends to include the practical aspect and field training to know the requirements of the labor market and meet its needs, and keep up with everything new in each student’s field of specialization to link the scientific and practical aspects.
