Beni Suef University wins 5 awards in the field of plastic arts and short films at the 12th Festival '' Ibdaa''

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that university students won 5 awards in the field of plastic arts and short films during the closing ceremony of the '' Ibdaa'' Festival in its 12th edition in the literary, scientific and artistic fields, for students of universities, higher institutes, and governmental and private academies, which was held under the patronage of the President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Central Administration for Youth Development, the General Administration for Cultural and Artistic Programs, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and an elite group of writers, public figures, media figures, and artists.
The student / Islam Ahmed Fathi, College of Arts, won first place in the field of sculpture, Non-specialized student, student / Makarios Rady Youssef, Faculty of Law, won first place in the field of color photography, non-specialized, Student / Ahmed Shawky Sayed, Faculty of Law, won second place in non-specialized sculpture, and student /Mohamed Hisham Abdel Latif, College of Applied Arts, won second place in the field of artistic works, specialist, and the student / Ahmed Mustafa Mohamed Abdel Fadil, College of Mass Communication, won second place in the field of short films, specialized.
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university pays great attention to develop the capabilities of its students, caring for them and encouraging them to participate in all competitions, and always seeks to discover more positive models and support talents in various fields, which contributes to raising the level of their cultural and scientific capabilities, and that there is great interest in student activities within the university aims to motivate them, hone their creative talents, support the spirit of competition among them, and select the best elements to participate in internal and external competitions.
