According to the Times Higher Education ranking, Beni Suef University is among the top 400 universities globally and ranks fourth locally.

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university ranked the fourth position among Egyptian universities and ranked between 351st and 400th globally, according to the British Time Higher Education classification for the year 2024 for young universities that are less than 50 years old from the date of their establishment. The ranking includes 28 universities.

The university president explained that this classification is based on five main indicators, including a number of detailed sub-criteria in the areas of: education (educational environment, published scientific research, income from scientific research, and reputation of the academy); qualitative citations); International relations (faculty, students, research and industry income (knowledge transfer of innovations and patents)

Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the Center for International Classification and Sustainable Development, indicated that the presence of new colleges and institutes specialized in modern and interdisciplinary sciences within Beni Suef University has greatly helped in producing good, high-level research published in the first quarter journals, the best 10% of specialized scientific periodicals.
