President of Beni Suef University signs a cooperation protocol with the Beni Suef Industrial Zones Investors Association

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Mr/ Essam Mohamed Suleiman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Beni Suef Industrial Zones Investors Association, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the two sides due to the diverse experiences that both parties possess
In order to achieve integration between them, the university represents scientific, research and consulting human expertise and has many specializations that meet the needs of the industrial, commercial, agricultural, engineering, medical and other communities, and it has human resources represented by a large number of internationally classified researchers in all the aforementioned fields. The association represents the industrial community that has the financial capabilities to serve the community, and the constant endeavor to make the industrial areas in the governorate advanced, developed, clean, and environmentally friendly
Its activities also include establishing vocational and vocational training centers and facility development centers, establishing projects to employ graduates, providing programs, activities and training courses for learning and learning about modern scientific and technological applications, and establishing employment, training and development units.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Engineer Saber Owais, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Estates Investors Association, Major General Muhammad Al-Nabawi, Executive Director of the Association, Mr/ Magdy Fayek and Mr/Salah Shaaban, members of the Association’s Board of Directors, and Engineer Hassan Farouk, Treasurer of the Association. Dr. Abeer Moawad, Director of the University Performance Development Center, and Dr. Hemat Muhammad Fayoumi, Director of the Office of Consulting and Linking Research with Industry

Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university administration seeks to link research with industry through many initiatives, as the value of scientific research depends on the possibility of translating its results into community services to advance society in all its activities, especially the field of industry, investment, construction, and environmental protection. On the other hand, development Industrial and investment success is based on keeping pace with scientific development for the purpose of increasing production efficiency and improving investment in parallel with preserving the safety of the environment and the health of society
The university president explained that the protocol aims to provide advisory services to industrial facilities, represented by technical consultations that contribute to providing innovative solutions for the design of industrial facilities, raising product quality, reducing production costs, and addressing problems related to environmental safety, wastewater, workers’ health, safe disposal of waste, and others. Conducting laboratory analyzes of products, production lines, soil, wastewater, and the surrounding environment
The university president added that the protocol contributes to providing human cadres through the process of supporting graduates and preparing them for the various types of labor market in coordination with the Industrial Estates Investors Association, to meet the labor market demands .
 Providing studies and conducting applicable scientific research to support the industrial system, conducting studies on assessing the environmental impact of all industrial activities, and contributing to the preparation of studies on establishing industrial wastewater treatment plants, rehabilitating existing plants and raising their efficiency
