Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the College of Education organized a symposium entitled “The Harms of Smoking and Addiction to Your physical and mental health” within the “Tobacco-Free University” initiative, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Hammad Hindi, Dean of the College, and Dr. Ahmed Fikri Bahnasawi, Vice President of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Director of the Psychological Counseling Center. It was attended by Dr. Ahmed Yahya, a teacher at the College of Medicine, and Dr. Yasmine Salah Rashad, a mental health teacher at the college and the symposium coordinator The “Tobacco-Free University” initiative aims to educate students and university employees about the health and psychological dangers of smoking, how to prevent and quit smoking, the effects it causes on the health of the individual and society, and to refrain from negative behaviors, to improve the general health of the person, by passing through the offices and terraces in every  Colleges
