Beni Suef University Council approves the Faculty of Nursing’s proposal to hold a number of awareness seminars

The Beni Suef University Council, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, University President, approved, in its 232nd session, the proposal of the Faculty of Nursing by holding an awareness seminar entitled “Nursing Labor Market Needs,” and organizing a legal consultation day for college employees in cooperation with the College of Law, this was attended by the university’s vice presidents, college deans, and council members.
The University President explained that the aim of this symposium is to provide students of the College of Nursing with the most important information and data related to the current and future labor market needs in the field of nursing. During the symposium, expected future developments in this field will be discussed, with the aim of directing and educating students studying in the college about the most important ways to reach to good job opportunities in the nursing profession market according to their future vision
The Council also agreed to organize a legal consultation day for college employees in cooperation with the College of Law, out of the belief in the necessity of providing them with the legal information which are necessary to practice the nursing profession and deal with the various legal issues that they may face during their work. The College of Law will participate in this day to deliver awareness lectures that highlight the most important Legal aspects which related to the field of nursing
The university president stressed the importance of holding such seminars and awareness events, and explained that providing students of the College of Nursing with practical information about the needs of the labor market is necessary to direct them towards the required and future specializations. He also explained the importance of providing them with legal knowledge because of its positive impact on enhancing their professional competence. The University President concluded his speech by emphasizing Beni Suef University’s keenness to develop its academic programs in line with the needs of the various labor market
