Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University organizes a workshop, “Create your journalistic story from the archive”

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, the College of Mass Communication organized a workshop entitled “Create your journalistic story from the archive.” This was under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayyid, Dean of the College, and Dr. Mona Hashem, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, where Mr. Bushra Abdel Momen, a journalist for Al-Masry newspaper, lectured in it . This came in the presence of Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and a number of faculty members. and college employees
The workshop discussed the concept of the archive, its traditional and non-traditional sources, how to obtain it, in addition to how to use it, and the difference between history and heritage
 as a practical application of what was covered in the workshop, examples of the most prominent press clippings, books, films, and photos were presented, in which the archive was relied upon for each of them, and the importance of referring to it as an inspiring and documented source of events and stories
