At a cost of 7 million pounds... President of Beni Suef University inaugurates the renovation of the major operations wing at the university hospital

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated the renovation of the major operations wing at the university hospital to keep pace with the latest medical systems with the highest standards of health quality, in cooperation with Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation, at a cost of 7 million pounds, and in the presence of Dr. Khaled Al-Hadidi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Imad Al-Banna, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Major General Sami Tawfiq, Member of the House of Representatives, Dr. Muhammad Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, and Mr.Muhammad Salim, Secretary-General of the University.
The university president explained that the renovation included seven surgical operating rooms, three rest rooms for doctors and nurses, a medical supplies store, two pharmacy rooms for operations, a patient preparation room, a doctors’ changing room, a room for sterilizing medical endoscopic devices, and a recovery room that includes seven recovery beds. In addition to equipping an intra-operative sample analysis laboratory for immediate analysis of the tissues that have been removed to determine the surgical decision during the operation, which is the first intra-operative tissue analysis service in Beni Suef Governorate.
He stressed that the university aims to provide health service to the best level in the interest of the citizen, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership regarding the importance of raising the efficiency of university hospitals to be an integral help in the health service system, by providing a developed and good environment inside the hospitals, which is reflected in the efficiency of the medical staff and the resulting provision of the best service to the citizen.
On the sidelines of the opening, the University President honored Mr.Walid Hussein Abdel Salam, Executive Director of Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation, Engineer Mohamed Odeh, Director of the Foundation’s Engineering Department, and Dr. Ashraf Farouk, Vice Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, for their great efforts in supporting university hospitals.
