“The pioneering role of women in tourism,” a symposium at Tourism and Hotels Faculty in Beni Suef

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a symposium entitled “The Pioneering Role of Women in Tourism'' at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, in cooperation with the National Council for Women in Beni Suef and the Unit for Combating Violence against Women at the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of university for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ghada Hammoud, Dean of the College, Dr. Fatma Youssef, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service Affairs, and Dr. Ghada Atef, Director of the Unit.
The symposium discussed mechanisms to support women to achieve the goal of increasing the participation rate of the female workforce in the tourism sector in Egypt and empowering women to face the challenges they face in the labor market, as well as supporting the creation of safe environments characterized by gender equality in the field of work within the tourism sector in Egypt.
