Earth science students, Beni Suef University, on a scientific visit to the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Earth science organized a scientific visit to the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition “EGYPS 2024” for third and fourth-grade students in the Department of Water and Environmental Geology and the Department of Applied Minerals and Engineering Geology, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghy, Vice President of the University for community service and environmental development affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Abdel-Gayed, Dean of the College, Dr. Safia Muhammad Ali, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Development Affairs, Dr. Fathi Muhammad Abu Al-Saud, Head of the Department of Water Geology and Environment, and Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Wahab Atallah - Director of the IT Unit.
The university president explained that the aim of the visit is to enhance learning skills and exchange knowledge between students and experts participating in the conference, and to introduce students to foreign and Egyptian companies in the fields of energy, environment, water treatment, petroleum and natural gas, as well as to increase students’ knowledge of developments in their field, and improve scientific skills. Pointing out that the conference witnesses a large international presence from the global energy sector, with the participation of a large number of ministers, officials, secretaries of regional and international energy organizations, and CEOs of major international energy companies.
