Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the training of students from the Faculty of Earth Sciences at the Water and Wastewater Company in Matrouh Governorate. The training comes within the framework of activating and developing the skills of the college students’ capabilities and linking scientific courses to practical reality, under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Gaid, Dean of the College, and Dr. Fathi Abu Al-Saud, Head of the Department of Water Geology and Environment.
For his part, the President of the University explained that the training included third- and fourth-level students in the Department of Water Geology and Environment during the mid-year vacation, where the students were trained in desalination plants, water and wastewater laboratories, and research, and during the training they learned about the company’s various activities through the company’s specialists, indicating that the practical training contributes to providing students with many important skills that qualify them for the labor market, and enhances students’ self-learning skills by transferring the knowledge that students have acquired from an academic standpoint to the practical side.
