Beni Suef National University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of the University, organized a training visit for the top students in the second level of the International Finance and Accounting program at the Cairo Bank, Al-Wasta branch in Beni Suef Governorate, where the students were received by Mr. Ahmed Hamida, the branch director. This came under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Dawoud,The Academic Vice President, and Dr. Suhair Abdel Basset, Dean of the Humanities and Arts Sector, and coordinated and implemented by Dr. Jaber Al-Salmani, Academic Coordinator of the International Accounting and Finance Program.

Dr. Mansour Hassan confirmed that Beni Suef National University is adopting a strategic plan to bridge the gap between the educational system and the labor market, and graduate students capable of keeping pace with the rapid development in the fields of modern technology and catching the train of progress in line with Egypt’s vision of digital transformation and governance towards sustainable development 2030.

Based on the above, it has become necessary to develop the skills of students in the International Finance and Accounting program in communicating with clients and banking skills to enable them to enter the labor market after graduation.

The visit, which took place over two consecutive days during the month of February, included training the students on banking and treasury operations, customer service, and the finance and lending department, where the students learned about the tasks and responsibilities of each job and the work mechanism within each department, and prizes were distributed to students who excelled in the training.
