The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University launches the Tobacco-Free University initiative

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing launched the Tobacco-Free University initiative, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, Dr. Mohamed Nagy Muhaisen, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Hanan Al-Zabalawy Hassan, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and environmental development Affairs.
Dr. Mansour stressed the importance of the university’s role in raising awareness of the seriousness of smoking problem, especially since it is concerned with serving the surrounding community, and that the initiative aims to educate students and university employees about the harms of direct and passive smoking, how to prevent and quit it, the effects it causes on the health of individual and society, and
avoiding negative behaviors to improve people's general health, by passing through the offices and auditoriums of all colleges.
It is worth noting that the initiative includes all the university’s colleges, starting with the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Sayed Qayed, Dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and Dr. Ahmed Bahaa, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
