Participation of a student delegation from Beni Suef National University in the activities of the Arab Environmental Youth Forum in Aswan

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, Acting President of Beni Suef National University, a student delegation from the National University participated in the activities of the twelfth Arab Environmental Youth Forum in Luxor and Aswan, entitled “Water and Food Security are Life Issues,” organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation With the Ministry of Environment, the League of Arab States, and UNICEF, with the participation of more than 300 students from Egyptian and Arab universities. This is under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Dawoud, Academic Deputy, and Dr. Sherif Mamdouh, Student Activities Coordinator at Beni Suef National University.
Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university is keen to encourage students participate in various local, Arab and international events and forums, and to spread awareness among young people about various environmental issues and rationalize water consumption to support the country’s efforts to achieve water and food security, as the forum constitutes a regional platform for reviewing and exchanging experiences among young people to achieve sustainable development goals.
