During his participation in the meeting of the Projects Committee in the House of Representatives... President of Beni Suef University: Establishing new industrial zones that take into account the competitive advantage of the governorate

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, participated in the meeting of the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises Committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives in order to develop an integrated vision for economic activities in Beni Suef Governorate.
  During the meeting, the university president presented a proposal on the importance of establishing new industrial zones that take into account the governorate’s competitive advantage to localize industry and replace imports, in cooperation with the governorate, the Enterprise Development Agency, the General Authority for Industrial Development, and relevant authorities.
Dr. Mansour Hassan reviewed the vision of Beni Suef University in establishing industrial zones in the governorate and the extent of the possibility of benefiting from the scientific projects and research carried out by the university during previous years, and the research and studies that can be presented during the next stage through the university’s distinguished scientific and professional entities that can be benefited from. 
For his part, Dr. Mansour stressed that the university can participate by presenting 12 integrated axes and a number of feasibility studies, the idea of a mini-factory, incubating pioneering ideas, entrepreneurship projects, technical, financial and administrative training, a strategy for international quality standards, scientific partnerships for small projects, and creating a data base builds on networking strategies.

Dr. Mansour stressed that the university, with all its capabilities, supports small, medium and micro enterprises in all ways, and is ready to participate with the relevant authorities to develop a strategic vision for technical education and build a technical school in cooperation with the governorate and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Masry, Dean of the Institute of Small and Medium Enterprise Studies, Mr. Mohamed Marei, Chairman of the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises Committee in the Egyptian House of Representatives, and Representatives, Mr. Hossam Al-Omda, Dr. Mona Abdullah, Dr. Hala Abu Al-Saad, Ms. Siham Bishai, and Ms. Mervat Michel, Members of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Malik, Deputy Executive Director of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, and a group of members of the Parliamentary Committee and relevant agencies.
