President of Beni Suef University opens the first annual cosmetics exhibition at the Faculty of Pharmacy

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, opened the first annual exhibition of cosmetics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Dr. Bassem Anwar Shehata, Dean of the College, college's vice-deans, Cosmetics Diploma Coordinator, Dr. Wael Al-Nagar, Head of Beni Suef Pharmacists Syndicate, and Dr. Mohamed Yahya, Director of Health Insurance Branch, and a large presence of community parties representing the Pharmacists Syndicate, Pharmacy Administration, Drug Authority, Chamber of Commerce, representatives of a number of factories and companies specialized in the field of cosmetics, and a large number of faculty members and students.
The President of the University explained that the exhibition is within the framework of activating the Cosmetics Diploma at the College, as the study provides the student with all the sciences related to cosmetology to learn how to prepare various formulations theoretically and practically, with the aim of preparing qualified cadres for the labor market in the field of cosmetics industry by providing all the necessary supplies for production and practical training of students.
The university president added that the aim of the exhibition is to train cosmetics diploma students on practical life through simulation of cosmetics companies, where the students manufacture new products and create the necessary advertising for them, along with designing packaging materials. Then they display these products in the exhibition and explain their effectiveness and the formulations used.
He pointed out that the university aims to change students’ thinking in a sophisticated and wonderful way, which transforms the student’s concept from mere academic achievement to production and industry of the future, stressing the university’s support for students’ entrepreneurship thought by supporting their innovations.
