The President of Beni Suef University chairs the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Scientific Journals

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Scientific Journals, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of University for Education and Student Affairs Sector, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of University for the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, and Dr. Maha Ahmed, General Coordinator of Scientific Journals Committee and members of the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, Dr. Mansour discussed some topics, including the launch of the website for the Scientific Journal for Digital Media Studies and Public Opinion, and the Scientific Journal for Research on Women, Media and Society, issued by the College of Mass Connunication, and approval of the issuance and formation of a Board of Directors and Editorial Board and the financial and administrative responsible for the Journal of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Obesity, and the approval of the vision, mission, objectives, and substantive sectors of the journal, and approval to reconstitute the Board of Directors, the Editorial Board, and the financial and administrative responsibility for the Journal of the College of Physical Therapy, and to modify its cover and logo, provided that the change is made to the website starting from the first issue of the year 2024, and the Journal of Legal and Economic Research issued by the College of Law, and restructuring its advisory body, and the restructuring of the board of directors and editorial board of the International Journal of Informatics, Media and Communication Technology issued by the university.
During the meeting, it was agreed to form a team to hold training workshops under the title How to Prepare Research Based on a Scientific Thesis in the Field of Social Sciences and Humanities, and for those in charge of newly issued journals to train them on the electronic system of the journal on the Knowledge Bank, and to hold workshops to review the practical journals issued by the university on social media and academic sites, which targets members of the editorial board of journals that have not previously attended the workshop, and journals that have fulfilled the required achievements.
