The President of Beni Suef University receives the director of the Chinese company "New Hope" to discuss ways of cooperation

Today, Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, president of Beni Suef University, received Mr. Jiang Ai Tsai, director of the Chinese company "New Hope," specializing in agricultural and animal production. The meeting aimed to discuss potential collaboration in scientific, research, and service areas. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel Latif Hisham, dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mr. Mohamed Selim, university's secretary-general, Mr. Ashraf Imran, company's advisor, and Mr. Ben Shaomin, company's sales manager.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan highlighted the academic capabilities of the university in the field of agricultural sciences and animal production, encompassing the Faculty of Agriculture, the Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He emphasized the importance of benefiting from the company's extensive experience in agricultural and animal production, noting that it is one of the largest investors in Egypt in this field.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to sign a cooperation protocol with the Faculty of Agriculture to train students during their studies, create job opportunities for them after graduation, and enhance the practical and technical aspects of their education alongside theoretical studies. This aligns with the political leadership's directives. Additionally, they discussed organizing a joint scientific conference aims at transferring and exchanging experiences, involving numerous Chinese universities and research centers in this field.
The company's president praised the significant changes witnessed by Egypt recently, especially in infrastructure and road development, contributing significantly to industrial growth and related sectors. He expressed great satisfaction and pride in collaborating with Beni Suef University, considering it an experienced institution in the northern Upper Egypt region.
At the end of the visit, the company's delegation toured various university facilities, including the guesthouse, conference center, and the grand celebration hall.
