Beni Suef University Council reviews the achievements of the Unit of Combating Violence Against Women.

During its 229th session, Beni Suef University Council, led by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, university president, reviewed the achievements of the Unit of Combating Violence Against Women over the past year. The session was attended by the deans of faculties, vice-presidents, and council members.

Prof. Dr. Mansour praised the remarkable efforts of the unit, highlighting its successful implementation of various activities at all levels. He also commended the unit's outstanding partnerships with organizations concerned with women's affairs, emphasizing the empowerment of women and the creation of a safe academic environment within the university. Prof. Dr. Mansour noted the university's many distinguished female staff members, highlighting their significant presence in various leadership and administrative positions. He affirmed the university's commitment to providing comprehensive support to the unit, aligning with the goals of the new republic.

During the session, Dr. Ghada Atef, director of the unit, presented the unit's key achievements over the year. The unit executed nearly 35 diverse events and activities, boasting over 200 coordinators within the university. Additionally, the unit collaborated with the General Directorate of the Governorate to implement various community service activities, considering it one of the university's essential roles.
